POP-UP EVENTS

FRUITING BODIES 2

March 16th 2025

Good Shepherd Studios, E11 3DR

Welcome back to our second Fruiting Bodies event, this time at Good Shepherd Studios in Leytonstone.

The fruiting body is the part of the mushroom that we see above ground, while below ground exists the mycelium which connects, supports and provides nutrients.

We recieved great feedback from our last event; with folks so happy to be in an intergenerational space, free to be introverted, extroverted, honest in however they were feeling that day.

There will be workshops, craft corner, movement, drag storytelling, herbal medicines, sound bath, kids activities and more. All ages are welcome. There will also be a free delicious hot buffet meal for all to share.

The link for tickets is via Outsavvy (here) and the suggested donation is £5-10. No donation is needed however.

All proceeds will go towards putting on the event, and any extra will go towards fundraising towards our future permanent space.

Please share far and wide and support Myxelia coming into the world. We hope to see you there!

With thanks to @walthamforest_official_ and Make It Happen grant for funding.

And to Opashona Ghosh @iconsaredead for the beautiful flyer image.
